Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cornflour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat until hot enough for frying.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, mozzarella cheese, coriander, chili flakes, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  3. Set up three separate bowls: one with flour, one with water, and one with breadcrumbs.
  4. Scoop a spoonful of the mixture, shape into balls. Dip each ball in flour, then in water, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the balls in hot oil in small batches, turning occasionally until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
