Description

Flaky puff pastry rolls filled with creamy broccoli and cheese, baked until golden and crispy, perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped broccoli florets
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine broccoli, mozzarella, parmesan, cream cheese, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano until well mixed.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry slightly on a floured surface if needed.
  4. Spread the filling evenly over the pastry, then roll tightly into a log and slice into even rounds.
  5. Place rolls on the baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Chop broccoli finely for even cooking and better texture.
  • Do not overfill to prevent spilling during baking.
