- 2 cups finely chopped broccoli florets
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine broccoli, mozzarella, parmesan, cream cheese, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano until well mixed.
- Roll out the puff pastry slightly on a floured surface if needed.
- Spread the filling evenly over the pastry, then roll tightly into a log and slice into even rounds.
- Place rolls on the baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Chop broccoli finely for even cooking and better texture.
- Do not overfill to prevent spilling during baking.
- Chill rolls briefly before baking to keep their shape.
