Description
These scoopable cookies bake up soft, warm, and packed with melty chocolate in one cozy dish. The edges turn lightly golden while the center stays tender and gooey, which makes every spoonful feel like the best part of a fresh cookie.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a round baking dish.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes, until the edges are golden and the center is just set.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before scooping and serving warm.
Notes
- For an extra gooey center, pull the dish from the oven when the middle still looks slightly soft.
- Reserve a few chocolate chips to press on top before baking for a prettier finish.
- A small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top makes this even more irresistible.
