- 400 grams spaghetti pasta
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until slightly firm, then drain.
- Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Spread half of the cooked spaghetti in the dish, then add a layer of marinara sauce, followed by the ricotta mixture.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining spaghetti and sauce.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 35 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling.
- Let the dish rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
