- 4 ears fresh corn on the cob, quartered lengthwise
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F or preheat grill to medium-high. Line a baking tray with parchment or foil.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange corn ribs on tray or grill and brush with oil and spice mixture.
- Place ribs spaced apart and roast or grill for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Halfway through cooking, brush with half the BBQ sauce and honey mixture.
- Once cooked and curled, brush with remaining sauce and broil for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Microwave corn briefly before cutting to make slicing easier.
- Use a heavy chef’s knife for safe and effective slicing.
- Broil at the end for that caramelized sticky finish.
