Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (15.25 ounces) strawberry cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
- 24 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Place the powdered sugar in a small bowl. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball, then coat generously in powdered sugar.
- Arrange the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges are set and the centers still look slightly soft.
- Immediately press one unwrapped milk chocolate candy kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Do not overbake, the centers should remain soft for the best texture.
- If the dough feels too sticky, chill it for about 20 minutes before rolling.
- You can substitute dark chocolate candies for a richer flavor.
