Description

Golden, flaky sausage rolls filled with juicy seasoned sausage meat and baked until crisp and irresistible, perfect for snacks, gatherings, or an easy comfort meal.


Ingredients

  • Raw sausage meat – 500 grams
  • Puff pastry sheets – 2 sheets
  • Whole egg – 1 large
  • Sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard sauce – 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Place the raw sausage meat in a bowl and gently mix with the mustard sauce until combined.
  3. Lay the puff pastry sheets on a clean surface and cut each sheet in half lengthwise.
  4. Spoon the sausage mixture evenly along one long edge of each pastry strip.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly around the filling and place seam side down on the baking tray.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Bake for about 25 minutes until the pastry is golden and the filling is cooked through.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve.
