Ingredients
- Raw sausage meat – 500 grams
- Puff pastry sheets – 2 sheets
- Whole egg – 1 large
- Sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon
- Mustard sauce – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Place the raw sausage meat in a bowl and gently mix with the mustard sauce until combined.
- Lay the puff pastry sheets on a clean surface and cut each sheet in half lengthwise.
- Spoon the sausage mixture evenly along one long edge of each pastry strip.
- Roll the pastry tightly around the filling and place seam side down on the baking tray.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until the pastry is golden and the filling is cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve.
Notes
- Keep the puff pastry cold until ready to bake for best puff and texture.
