Description

A cool, creamy yogurt dip with fresh cucumber, garlic, and herbs, perfect as a refreshing side or spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Chill a mixing bowl if desired for a cooler result.
  2. In the bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture using a strainer or cloth.
  4. Add the drained cucumber, minced garlic, dill, and mint to the yogurt mixture.
  5. Mix gently until smooth and fully combined.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then drizzle a little olive oil on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Drain cucumber thoroughly to prevent a watery texture.
  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the best creaminess.
  • Let it rest in the fridge to enhance flavor.
  • Adjust garlic to your taste preference.
