Description
These thick Valentine’s M&M cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with festive red, pink, and white candies. Perfectly golden on the edges and gooey in the center, they’re the ultimate sweet treat for February 14th or anytime you’re craving something extra special.

- 2 and ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 and ½ cups Valentine’s M&Ms
- ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each, then mix in vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Stir in M&Ms and chocolate chips.
- Use a cookie scoop to form tall mounds of dough and place them on baking sheets.
- Press a few extra M&Ms on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are just set.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Chill dough for 15 minutes if baking in a warm kitchen.
- Add a pinch of sea salt on top after baking for a flavor boost.
- Store with a slice of bread to keep cookies soft longer.
- Swap M&Ms with seasonal candies for other holidays.
