Description

This viral dumpling lasagna is a bold, saucy twist on a comfort classic, layering dumpling wrappers with chili oil, garlic, and soy for a spicy, savory dish you won’t forget.


Ingredients

  • 2025 dumpling wrappers
  • 4 tablespoons chili oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly oil an 8×8 baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine chili oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and chili flakes to create the sauce.
  3. Spread a spoonful of sauce at the bottom of the dish to prevent sticking.
  4. Layer 4–5 dumpling wrappers, slightly overlapping, then spoon sauce over. Repeat for 4–5 layers, ending with sauce on top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes to lightly crisp the top.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving hot.

  • Use room-temperature wrappers to avoid tearing.
  • Let the dish rest before slicing to keep layers intact.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or tofu between layers for extra flavor.
