Description

Soft, golden breadsticks stuffed with gooey melted cheese and brushed with flavorful garlic butter, perfect as a comforting snack or side.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  3. Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle and cut into strips.
  5. Place shredded mozzarella inside each strip, fold over, and seal edges tightly.
  6. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over warm breadsticks.
  9. Sprinkle dried parsley on top and serve warm.
