Description

Crispy chicken fries made from juicy chicken tenders, coated in a seasoned breadcrumb crust and fried to golden perfection. Perfect for snacking, dipping, or serving at parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Set up your dredging stations with seasoned flour, egg and buttermilk mixture, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
  2. Dip each chicken strip into the flour mix, then the egg mix, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently.
  3. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F.
  4. Fry chicken strips in batches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels or a wire rack before serving.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Chill the breaded strips before frying for extra crunch.
  • Use a thermometer to maintain oil temperature.
